The Brecon Beacons National Park is the perfect place for horse lovers. Our spectacular scenery and wealth of wildlife create some of the best riding in Europe. We are close to excellent road and rail links, yet a world away from the bustle of urban life.

We have thousands of acres of hills, moors and fields, criss-crossed by ancient tracks and lanes. This creates a riding paradise, where you can ride all day, sharing the views with just the soaring buzzards and the only delays here are for leisurely pub lunches while your mount grazes outside.

Brecon Beacons National Park offers a rich diversity in waterways for paddlers, from the fast flowing white water of the River Usk to the tranquil calms of Llangors Lake and the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal.

Record-breaking grayling on the Wye, the River Usk with some of the finest brown trout fishing in the country and a sprinkling of well-stocked reservoirs and lakes make fishing one of the most popular outdoor activities in Brecon Beacons National Park.
